    Fuel tank size

I bought my wife’s uncles cobra about 4 yrs ago, he bought it new. It’s a 1996 188d and I am curious if anyone knows the fuel tank size. I always keep it full but I am just curious how many gallons it holds. Did put a standard size in these? It’s a Travis Edition if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I have a '99 190 that the build see says it has a 45 gallon fuel tank.

I believe somewhere around 1998, they changed the name from "188" to "190". Boat stayed that same size as far as I know.

I got a copy of my build sheet from Craig at Dean's Top and Canvas. They were the company that did the original OEM seats. I sent them an email inquiry along with my HIN #. He had a copy of the original build sheet and was gracious enough to send me a copy of it for my personal records.

    Hopefully this helps.

In 1996 the Cobra 188D came with a 36 gallon gas tank as standard but a 44 gallon tank was available as an option.

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!
