    Anybody been on kaw?

    Heading over this weekend with another bbc member to see if the cats are up in the rocks spawning. Just curious if anyone has been and had any luck?

    A couple weeks ago, my wife and I went just above the lake in the horseshoe bend area and whacked them pretty good. We caught 20+ blues, mainly 3-5lbs, with the largest being 14.6#. We put in at Bear Creek and went up Wolf Creek to catch shad for bait. They were biting good enough that we could only fish with one rod at a time.

    Thanks for the info. 11pounder decided he didn't want to drive that far so we ran over to Ft.Gibson and had a good day. I'll be heading to Kaw either this Sunday or next.
