Better fishing in MI for perch, but wawasee has some decent ones. Of course the boat traffic will be nuts in summer.

Years ago Dewart had some monsters. Now it seems they have loads of 5" perch. The big ones have to be out there some where....just cannot find them with any consistency. I do know they bite better on a live minnow vs. a nightcrawler or red worm. Would love to get into a mess of big perch - very good eating.

Check on ice shanty or crappie.com as most of those guys focus on panfish. Some of those little lakes could be good around south bend. I can't say I've ever found a good consistent perch lake in indiana.
