Why do i see "rings" in the images of Livescope ?

Hello... i have tried Low, Med and High for Gain and they all seem to have this ring affect in what i see.

Is this due to water sediment ? Any way to fix this ? it almost seems like i can see my crankbait as it comes in if it is 'within' the radius of the ring shown and not outside of that ring, almost like outside the ring the readings are fuzzier

Any advice on what this is and how to resolve if i can would be great.

It is the ghost tree Don mentioned. It is a big problem for some, others not that much.
Like Don said lots of post on this. So far Garmin does not have a real fix for this.
It is not something that you can just "tune out with setting".
For most when you adjust it out there is a void (dead) area in it's place where nothing appears.
