    Trick steps

I'm going to put a set on my 1880, anyone put these on a Vexus trailer themselves?

Yes, and it was really easy. Having someone to hold it for 30 secs until you get the first bolt in helps. Watch their YouTube installation video. You can put it on and switch the way the Vexus folding trailer tongue swings in a short amount of time. Because it would be just that easy/fast to steal as well, I put two Master tire locks on a couple of the diagonal bolt heads. They were only $8 each on Amazon.

    Here are some photos:

I just went and visited with Mark this morning and we installed a set on my 1880. It took us less than 5 minutes.

I have been “aquatinted” with Mark for a bunch of years, I used to work in a bait shop with his nephew. He is a solid dude that will stand by his product. Knowing him I was prepared for his shop to be neat and orderly. What I found was a shop as clean or cleaner than the outpatient surgery center I just had a colonoscopy in In case you’re unaware Mark spent 20+ years as an NHRA crew chief.

Do not hesitate buying a set of Trick Steps, you’ll not be disappointed.

Here is another company that I came across for steps. They look to be very good quality as well. Maybe an option and thought I’d throw it out there. They have a few different models to fit different trailer/boat types.

My steps were welded on at the plant, not bolted. And they are great add on! worth the cost for sure.
My buddies teenage son said he loves the "stripper pole". LOL....I cracked up when he said that, referring to the hand rail/post.

I had Trick Steps on my Phoenix, pulled them off when I sold it and adapted it to another boat I bought. They are great, solid as a rock.

BTW looking at buying a used AVX1980, good looking ride!
