On Lake Murray, how far can you safely take fiberglass boat up the Saluda and little saluda rivers? I've been to the 391 bridge and know you can go further, but can you go up to, say the Kempson bridge, on Saluda river side without working about stumps and debris?
You can run way past kimpsons so to answer ? Yes but stay in the river running if your not familiar

I can answer this as I was just past the 378 bridge on the little Saluda yesterday in a 20 FT triton.
I have been past the 121 bridge on the big Saluda in the past. I hear it gets rocky soon after the 121.
It got real narrow along there and I turned around.
