Best prop available for 2020 Merc 250 4S

Hydromotive ? Mazco ? What are the opinions of those who have this motor on a 21' Ranger bass boat (or any bass boat for that matter) and you could buy any prop you wanted that gave you the absolute best performance ??

Yes sir BMM … I realized it was kind of a loaded question with minimal engine/boat information but was really just interested to know from those who have tried props from different manufacturers and really saw performance numbers that were heads and tails better than anyone else's.

First off, you have to define performance. Is it pure speed or something else.

From what ive been reading its probably between the Fury 3 & 4 blade, Bravo1, and Tempest. I Have a Worked Turbo TXP OT4 27 I used to run on my bullet im gonna try don't think anyone has tried that yet.

Performance to me personally is hole shot and speed. I realize that different water conditions (rough, choppy, etc) other than ideal are huge factors but if you could have any prop out there today that ran noticeably better than others in ideal conditions … what prop manufacturer would that be ??

Yes sir … your probably right !! Most of us (not all) are always looking for that "extra" if its out there. Whether that's fine tuning an existing Fury, as an example, or buying a custom made wheel from a number of other custom prop manufacturers.

Mine came with Fury 23 and I ordered a Tempest 23 to try. Also have a Tempest a45 that I had lowered to a 24. I have always been partial to the Tempest props. Will give updates once I have run them all.

Fury 3, have trued to 23P without any Rake, Cupping or Thinning done. Best speed, lift and will get you the 6200 RPM's needed.
