    Johnson 150 FS VRO/Disconnect

I have a 94 Johnson 150 FS # J150GLERA and I was trying to figure out if I can bypass my VRO by disconnecting and capping the oil side of the VRO and premix my fuel? Any help I'm lost and don't have the money for a new VRO.

Yes but add the oil to your gas first at a 50:1 ratio. You'll have to calculate the amount of fuel in the tank and then add your oil to it. Better to run it rich the first time. Once you get the mixed fuel in the motor you can safely disconnect the oil side. There should be a yellow plastic plug and a black rubber cap attached to it. Plug the oil line and cap the inlet and secure with a zip tie. Disconnect the 4 wire harness going to the VRO pump and the two wire harness for the low oil sensor from the tank. If you desire you can remove the oil tank from the boat.
