1989 blackmax 175 dead spot while throttling up 0B231161

When I throttle up the motor does fine until I get to almost full throttle were it trys to bog down. If I push quickly enough to full throttle the motor runs as it should. Its like I have a dead spot right before I get to full throttle. I have had new reed valves and I have put in new spark plugs. Any help would be appreciated.

I have only had the boat for 2 years. The previous owner said that he had the carbs rebuilt prior to selling. I have not use sea foam, but I have used power tune.

Found out what was causing the dead spot when throttling up. A couple of the jets were missing in the carburetor. Replaced the ones missing and that fixed it.
