1999 200 opti to 2012 250 pro xs

So my 200 finally let go. I have the opportunity to purchase a 2012 250 pro xs. My question is this, I have an 8 pin wiring harness in my procraft, can I purchase the 8 pin to 14 pin harness adapter and everything on my dash work just as it did before or is it not that simple and there are other things I’ll need to change out too? Thanks for any input. I do know I will need a new prop hub as the prop shaft is larger.
