I agree, the list of new country songs that make my play list is so short! I'll list them all here...

There has always been a lot of good and bad country singers , no matter what period. I would say the newer stuff might have a higher percentage of bad and a some played is more pop than country.

Personally, Other than a few songs I think George Strait’s music is boring and mostly terrible. Many will disagree.

Check out IHeart radio and listen to some bluegrass. I like to listen to country but most of the time is bluegrass.

HMMMMM, I'm pretty sure this has been a generational debate forever. It wasn't that many generations ago that thought people like Elvis and The Beatles were spawn of the devil.
