Question Side Imaging Streaks, What is This

Anyone know what the issue is here with this image? I have not seen these kinda streaks until I used my unit this past weekend. I own a Helix 5 SI GPS G2. They came and went during my day, but seemed to be more around deeper water 13+ ft than shallower. It looks like some kinda interference overlay.

I don't know about in AZ, but right now our lakes are lousy with pollen and bug hatch and thermocline and all manner of nonsense. Rough time of year for imaging. You don't have the frequency displayed, but since you say it's depth-dependent, I'm guessing some similar type of problem (those don't look like interference to me?). Try changing your imaging frequency to 455 and see if it improves. Lower frequencies do better in turbid water since the don't have the target separation of higher frequencies, and can cut through the clutter more effectively.
