Today was a first for me. I have been fishing my whole life. Mostly with my 30 year old son. We do tournament trails together as well as fish in the same club against each other. Today I made my 26 year old daughter her first tackle box. Her request mind you. She has had a trouble past. She's been to Hell and gave it the finger and is now back with me. We lost her Mom 4 years ago and we've helped each other through it. She will fish with me randomly. I always say yes when she asks me if I want to go fishing today. But today...I could not go so she asked if I could rig up a few poles for her and her boyfriend. I gladly did and made her up a tackle box with everything I thought she could use for the lake they were going to. It's her first tackle box and I am sure it won't be her last. It might not seem like a big deal to some but believe me it's huge to me. I am so happy so see her happy and doing so well. She has 2 semesters of college left and finished last semester with ALL A'S. I am so proud of her! I hope she catches a bunch today!!
