    back yard re-opening

We have stayed pretty much to our selves for the most through this ordeal but are breaking out today. Today is my son in law's birthday so we'll hang by the pool, throw some bags and I have 3 slabs of ribs going on the smoker and a couple beer butt chickens going on the weber grill later on. All 3 daughters will be here as well as my SIL's parents. We will officially be open. I hope all BBCers have as good a time as I anticipate I will today. Enjoy.

I opened my patio last weekend. Had mom, dad, niece, my sister and her bf along with my wife and daughter. Smoked 4 racks of baby backs to eat along with mom's potato salad and a few brews. Good times!

Good for you. We went 5 weeks without having our 3 youngest grandkids ( ( they live 4 blocks from us) This W/E we had all 3 of them.

We've stayed to ourselves a lot. We order out and wear mask any time we go to public locations. This weekend was the first we finally ventured out some. What we learned, people do NOT know what social distancing is. I get it if you dont personally believe all of it but staying a few feet away from someone isnt that hard.

It’s interesting you posted this we have made our patio our favorite spot with a new patio set, a kiddie pool on steroids, and some landscaping. We have spent the last 2 weekends in it and had a blast.
