I have a Triton VT19 aluminum and want to install a over-platform ladder on the back of the boat. Problem is, I can't get my hands to where the bolts will come thru. The area is just the aluminum cap. Any ideas of how I could mount this?
Thanks.

Use as big a stainless screw as you can and seal the footprint with 5200.
Are you wanting to mount similar to this?

IMO a good option is to use Rivnuts.

Exactly Goldstar. I'll look up Rivnuts.
Thanks.

Not from the water (haven't fell in yet ) but I've extended it and put my 220 pounds on it with no problem. It's rated for 400 pounds. The four steps extend deep into the water for ease of boarding and at $120.00 I consider it a heck of a bargain compared to other options.
