    Thermostat refresh or repair

1b465109. Has anyone had any luck refreshing the damaged seat on thermostats? I’ve got 5 in my stock now and only 1 shows cycling when viewed on diagnostics, it will cycle between 131 and 124. The other “good” one simply stabilizes at 124 and the 3 others stabilize somewhere between 118 and 122. Even if it took a couple hours at $120 a pop lapping the surfaces to one another would be well worth the effort since buying one a year is getting a little old.

If they cycle anywhere between 120* - 130* I would call them GOOD and run them. IMHO

My concern is when the temps stay BELOW 115*F when the motor is first started.

Thanks Savage. That certainly eases my mind quite a bit.
