I spoke with Lucas today at Bunch Marine in Tn. and he informed me that a factory rep would be coming to their shop to do the procedure. He stated that he would ring me as to when to bring it in for the service. He wasn't exactly sure what day/days the rep would be doing it at this time but hopefully it won't be very long. Hope this helps!

I’m still wondering if every boat has to come in or if they can ID by serial number.

I would imagine they have a serial number range that it applies too.

Still no word from my dealer who promised to call factory with my serial number to learn if my boat requires additional flotation.

Returning calls has not been a strong suit so far. ☹️

It it has only been 15 days since then.

Update: Talked to dealer and he says my boat has no problem requiring additional flotation.

Anyone have any updated information concerning the flotation recall? I haven't heard anything as to when to bring my boat back to the dealer.

No, I'm just assuming the dealer will call me when the factory rep shows up. I bet it's this fall/winter before they arrive.

I called my Dealer about this, he said he would check into it and let me know the next day. That’s been at least a month ago and have not heard a word. I’m just going to forget about this, if I get the unfortunate situation where my boat gets broken in half, the least of my worries will be is if it floats.

That’s interesting. I spoke with Bunch 2 weeks ago and they told me someone from triton would be down in the upcoming weeks to fix all the recalls. He said he put me on the list of hulls to fix and would be in touch when they are ready

I cannot get the pics sized correctly to where I can put them on here. Basically they destroyed his boat, foam in the rod lockers, etc., Here is what he said.

“So some of you may have received a recall for the flotation foam. Well received a call yesterday saying my boat was messed up from them doing the recall.. and this is what I get. Drains plugged up. Electrical just locked into place. Can't even fit any rods in the lockers because it's so packed. Boats not even a year old. What am I supposed to do with this??

Edit/update: The dealership is working to correct this issue. With all the covid stuff going on triton is backed up and at limit capacity so all the parts will take a bit to get. I was told the boat was still fish able and to use til parts come in. But clearly its not fish able if I cant fit rods in the lockers. And with the foam being all over and uneven im not even sure if it will float right”

That is completely unacceptable! I wonder what planet the clown who did that job came from?

According to my dealer, mine is not included in the recall even though I received a letter from Triton advising me of the recall.
