    Mercury temp sending unit help

    I bought a sending unit that has 4 wires coming out of it. Marine dealer didn't have Two wire type. My original unit only had ground and tan wire. What do the other two wires go to? Computer to control fuel input? Motor is 98 200 efi serial 0G740530

    should have 4 wires on , others go to ecu for temp monitoring fuel mixyures
