Im not too savy when it comes to boat motor mechanics. Just wondering what this does and how to do it? I have a 2006 225 Etec. Sometimes for no reason at all, it will not start while on the water. almost seems as if it gets flooded? I can trim motor up level and wait a few minutes, it then starts fine. Talked to another guy on the water one day and he said he had the same issue. Any idea what may be causing this?? Would this indexing help? If so, how do you do this? And I see plugs torque to 18 ft/lbs?

There is a sticky at the top of the forum that includes a video to show you how to do it.

    Thank you.
Do you believe this has anything to do with the no starting issue?
