    2001 mercury 200

Unloaded last night and the motor started right off as usual pulled to the dock and killed it waiting on my son. Went to start it and it won’t start it will crank but nothing. Checked the kill switch and it was good still nothing. I pulled a plug to see if I had spark and nothing. Any help would be appreciated otherwise it’s to the shop and they are a month behind

As stated serial number is important. Hate to ask but did you check kill switch? Could be key/harness or neutral safety switch.

Did you cycle the kill switch off/on a couple of times? With your shifter in N, with the key in start position, move the handle slightly toward F and/or R and see if it will fire.
