    Found my leak

    Keel guard was pretty tough(and waterproof). Think I bought it this way but never leaked much till this year, time to find a good aluminum welder.boatsplit-1.jpg

    Mine had a cracked keel. Had a welder fix it but he said he wouldn't do it from under again. If it does it again I will cut a hole in the floor in the center storage area to get to it from above.

    reminds me of my old tracker after a storm on LOTW. Nothing that a good aluminum welder can't fix.

    looks like a great job on the repair. I wish Xpress would put that on all the boats from the factory.

    This^^^^. My boat looks exactly like ark's repair. Took about 3 hours and I did not flip it over. Mine was only cracked about 6" and I believe the keel guard was put on to hide it. It wont be put back on as long as I own it.
