aluminum bass boats on upper bay

in the market for a rig and have been looking at aluminum bass boats for the upper bay. now ill be launching from Tydings the majority of the time or north east. Seeing what recommendations i should be looking at minimal size limit, power etc. i dont plan on running across the bay, mostly tydings to northeast, flats and the local creeks/bays. if i decide to fish sass or elk ill launch there.

also will take recommendations or glass boats that will fit within that towing issue.

also reason is my towing is limited currently 3500lbs max on an AWD edge

    thanks

With all the shallow water there you should take a look at Havoc Boat's.

Almost any aluminum boat will work for what you describe. I ran an Xpress H56 (18'3") w/115 on the UB for 20+ years. Crossed the bay many times, but you have to pick your days. I recently replaced it with a X18 and am very happy. If you think you might want to fish BFLs or Opens, you'll want a bigger boat like an X19. Otherwise anything 17' and up will work. Just be close to max HP and be sure to get a 24v trolling motor.
