    Gas Compartment Struts

Could someone tell me the part number or the lb support of the compartment gas struts. Mine are Attwood Spring lift if I read it correctly. Can't make out the numbers on mine. Fully extended mine are 12 3/4" but 12" would work I think.
These will be for my bilge area lid. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I would put at least a 40LB if its a wide hatch. My front rod locker has a single 40, the front center has twin 60's (it's stout). I put a 30 on my back battery/bilge lid, it works but it could be a little stronger.

    Thanks chatabass.
Found out that mine were the Attwood SL-35-40-1. Also found out that this gas support replaces it also. Lot cheaper than Attwood. SE120P40 from Lift Support Depot replaces it.

40 seems good all around. My rod boxes are 40 lb and the center box is dual 30s. They sound alot stiffer than they really are seems like.
