Hate it. I lived through the Johnson Fucht thing too. And partly because I really like the G2. Happen to work on a Bombardier project and know they are hurting and were on the verge of bankruptcy.

I would think that any boat that has one of these engines on it is going to be extremely hard to sell/trade now. Scott Martin will need to hold a raffle.
I believe the Gen 1 ETecs became bug free. My 07 was bullet proof till I sold it off in 14. I have owned OMC XP, Vindicator & an Etec Rude with no major issues. My Vindicator did need a new power pack which was common issue for that generation.
