Whats the difference between a Lab Finished prop vs a standard prop?
I got on Mercury racing website and found where they explain the differences very well.
I've been told that Lab Finish is a thinning of the blades... Dan
A lab finished prop has thinned blades. The purpose of a labbed prop is you can go up a pitch but turn same rpms.
Blades are thinned for extra rpm. Lab is not needed for the v8, based on my test anyway.
