    HDI mount question

Broke the plastic $20 TM mount today (overtightened clamp I believe) new one on the way
I now have 2 broken ones, clamp area on differing sides broken
Until new one gets here, if I were to rivet the broken ones together, along w some gorilla glue, would the rivets themselves create any kind on interference? Rivets would be on side of HDI ducer mount... Thanks

Huh, mine lasted for over 5 years with no issues. But to answer your question, metal will not interfere with the sound waves produced by the transducer. The only way they could be a problem is if they physically blocked a section of the sonar cone coming out the bottom.

I try to drive as if my 16 year old Grandson is following me
