PII Live well divider cannot be removed. FYI. I tried hard! LOL!

    I'm OCD on another level.
If a fish goes in my live well, when I get home the live well gets rinsed out...EVERY TIME. Sometimes rinsed and shop vacuumed dry.

I noticed the live well divider was getting stained even with my ridiculous cleaning. Sooooo, I went and purchased some paint, because gloss white will be easier to keep clean then the flat thats on it.
I remove the screws and find it won't come out. No matter how you turn it, spin it...IT WONT COME OUT!
I'm sitting there with no shoes on realizing this is installed prior to the cap and my OCD will not be satisfied.

I left it unscrewed and scrubbed it with a brush and got it cleaned. Then waxed the inside of the live well. Put the divider back up with silicone on the screws.
Yep. I'm a clean freak. So you can imagine how all those scuff marks on the bottom of the boat from stumps eat at me, (I gave up buffing those, at 52 years old my body lets my OCD know its losing).

After, I rotated the trailer tires (Fwd to Aft). Removed the spare and had the valve stem replaced. It was leaking.
Removed some rust from around a weld at the bow support. Taped it off and painted it.
Waxed the top of the engine cowl. (I'm to short to do it from the ground)

Next, replacing the water impeller, power pole oil and cleaning the pump screens.
I need to get back to work soon or I will have whole surge brake assembly out and messing with it.
Welcome to a day in my world.

Thats the last place I fished. Black River. Rivers are mean to the whole boat.

I would be the opposite of OCD. I'll pick the big stuff (crawdad claws, shad, etc) and remove, but don't clean the livewells very often. Can I leave my boat with you for a week or so?

That post made me laugh Don! I was just looking at mine as well and wondering if I ever caught a really big one and had to put her in there, could I get that screen out? Now I know not to try!

So, can the divider be removed and replaced at will, Basscat. I hope so for when striper or catfishing. Please tell me there's a way to do this since my next boat will be an Eyra.

Most of the livewells do not have this feature, the Pantera Classic does we believe.

WH - if it helps my Eyra held a 12lb 6oz LM for a derby...she was released in good shape. I think you'll be fine for most cats and stripers.

No doubt plenty of room for bass. I was wanting to be able to remove divider for extra length of fish to stretch across both sides. Thanks.

This is a problem that I can only dream of having.

My bass is too big for the livewell.

Yep. Not on a good level either! Second pic you can see the reflection of the divider in the grey.
Also the gelcoat under the live well lids get waxed. Good thing is my wife is the same way.
She cleans on another level. Her idea of a normal house cleaning is most peoples Spring cleaning. First time I seen her cleaning base boards, I was scratching my head. Now its just the norm.

Lol. Not worried about bass being too long to fit. Especially ones I catch. Was thinking stripers and catfish.

Do what a lot of us have done, if you want it out, cut it in half.

I actually had the cutting wheel on the high speed, and decided my OCD would have to take a break.

Could do that but would really rather be able to remove and replace when want to. When it comes time to order boat, I will get with Bass Cat and see what can be figured out.
