on my unit, the right side of side scan is darker. It doesn't show nearly as good as left side. I have my transducer level with the bottom of the boat. I did the update. Should I order a new transducer?

Sonar piezos can be faulty or fail over time.
Is that a new symptom or has it always been that way?
Check the SI view in Simulator to see if the processor is OK.

It has been like that for a while. I haven't had time to fish much but when I do it drives me crazy. I will try to put it on simulation when I get home. What could I do to correct the problem
If the piezo is weak or failed, replacement is the only option.
Also is any part of the boat blocking the right side SI? That will make that side darker also.
