    Phoenix 721xp

    My buddy has a Phoenix 721xp with 250 proxs. Problem is the boat will only run 68mph with just him. I was wondering what would be the best setup for this boat?

    I agree with Kry29. Your also leaving out a lot of important information, and there's certainly a lot of threads with this information. Basics are what was his RPM's at 68MPH? What's he running prop to pad? What prop? Prop plugs? Hydraulic or manual jack plate? On what setting / hole? How much is he trimming it up? Is he getting to 68 then it starts to chine and he gets out of it VS. adjusting the jack plate / trim? What's his experience running a bass boat? A 721 with just a driver should be in the northern 70's for sure.
