    Alarm issues

    0g694257 98 mercury 225 efi
    The alarms is beeping 4 -5 beeps and is jumping back and forth from temp to oil on dash this is when you put it in the water peeing good stream changed water pump thermostat hard to get on plane got home checked side oil tank for continuity was none so guessing tank is good , put it on the muffs alarms will not go off ! Any thoughts or suggestions

    Check the fuel filter for water.

    No, there is not a light on the engine itself that illuminates.

    Why will the alarms not come on when running on the muffs

    Depends on what's causing the alarm. Could be as simple as water in the fuel filter- only touching the sensor at a specific trim angle (and not at other trim angles).
