Ned Rig - What is your “go to”setup?

For you ned rig guys out there, what is your go to setup for Ned rig fishing? Spinning or casting? Line type? Also, what head weight and color?

With all of the Ned rig lures our there now, is the original z-man stuff still the best? Have caught some on it, but want to get better. Thanks!

Any medium action spinning rod,6-6 to 7', I prefer a 2500/3000 size reel, 6 or 7 lb Sunline fishes better for me than braid/leader, 1/16 or 3/32 head with #2 or #1 hook. Mainly fish Z Man Zinkers cut in half, PBJ with a purple head, GP orange w/orange head, couple of other colors depending on water color/ time of year.

    7'6" ML Custom Built MHX
    2500 Shimano Ci4
8lb Berkley Nanosilk with about 15' of 8lb Fluoro leader

All over the place on baits. I make a hand pour version, ZMan is tough to beat and I like the Roboworm as well.

The baits are either Fall Brawl 3” worms or ZMan TRD. Hooks are ZMan ned heads as well. I use two different set ups depending on my mood that day.

6’9” ML St Croix Avid X; Shimano Symetre 2500, 10lb power pro

6’6” ML Custom rod with CRB blank, Quantum Accurist 25 size reel, 10lb Berkley x5 braid

7'7" M Phenix Feather blank that I built, 3000 Ci4. I use the big TRD the majority of the time but cut it down to a "medium" TRD. Zman ned heads most of the time Pro shroom or the power finesse, I think the ones with the smaller hooks are actually better. I do want to try the new head from Strike King though because I like sickle hooks. Line is either straight 6lb Tatsu or 10lb PP Slick with a Tatsu leader.

My ned rig is a 1/2 oz flipping jig on 20 lb. test line.

My normal rig is a 3/4 oz flipping jig on 50 lb. test line.

7-10 heavy flipping stick on each.

The 6-7 ML Adrena with a Ci4 2500 is a $$$ combo for neds. I run 15lb braid and a 6lb fluoro leader on it. The other rod I've thrown a ned with is a 7-2 ds Cumara with a Ci4.
