    Lake Bruin

anyone fish this body of water? Me and the family heading up Tuesday and from what I gather it's mainly a ski/recreation lake. Just wondering where I can set a hook.

Its a very good lake to fish . Right now probably the end of piers with a crankbait. Tons of cypress trees. If you have nav lights on your boat fish after dark on the green monster lights at peoples piers. Youll see the green glow from a far way. Some lights have them hybrid stripers though so hang on lol but weve had many good nights on them lights. Also fish by the state park and that end . caught a 6lb bass last year around this time . crankbaits , big worms and spinner baits

Just got back from 4 days on Bruin, fishing was tough. Caught a few shallow on the bank but most off the shady side of piers when sun was out. Lipless crankbait and crankbait worked for me. Shad are everywhere, bass are fat. Went to lake Saint John and caught bigger fish.
