I made reservations back before Christmas at Campbell Point for our annual spring fishing and camping trip with the men in my Sunday School class. In mid March I get an email from Recreation.gov letting me know they were sending me my money back and cancelling our trip due to Covid-19. So.... I called Mutton Creek up at Stockton and moved our reservations up there. It was an adventure to say the least. We set up camp first thing Thursday morning and then headed out on the lake to fish. We saved anything of keeper size for our fish fry on Friday night and it took me a solid hour to get everything filleted. We had a mixed bag everyday with bass, white bass, crappie, and walleye and they made for an awesome fish fry. I also wound up the the big fish trophy. It was a great trip.
