    Leesylvania Jam Packed Yesterday, Saturday

    Hardly a space left in the parking lots and they were lined up down to the bottom of the hill up to the gate. I got there early to install my prop thank goodness.

    I got there about 2pm. Signs on way down to entrance saying park closed. Police at entrance waived me in because I had a boat. Turned the others around. Folks manning the pay booth said too many folks in the picnic/beach area. Lots of trailer spots open when I launched at 230. And only about 5 cars in the lot when they scolded me for returning at 9 pm. Hey I was on a bite!

    Btw...the prior weekends I got there around noon and the line was almost down to the entrance. Yesterday because of closure breezed thru.

    Memorial day, 4th of July, and Labor day are no go weekends unless your into watching ramp follies from the safety of your vehicle.
