Removing Merc ssr full rubber hub ?

Purchased a new Fury 24 ‘ & the new style ssr hub !, it was a pain to insert!, & I am thinking more of a pain to remove ?, since I want to try a Fury 23 !, any body able to remove the hub ?

I used a hydraulic press....Good luck without one.

I hooked up boat trailer to truck and used a floor jack to place the prop against the trailer tongue like a press to remove it. Don't remember if I used a large socket or what I used between the prop hub and trailer tongue but it worked!

I would leave it alone and get another hub kit, with my primary prop I run the ssr, but I also have the racing hub for ease of prop change for trying other props and my backup. I see no difference in operation between the two hubs. But I do like the tight fit of the SSR

I used a 1-1/16 deep socket on an extension, a 3 pound drilling hammer, 2 short pieces of 2x4, a couple good licks and its out.
