    Perspective View Qustion

    Hi,

I got the gamin mount and installed it last week and went out and tried it. It showed a good number of fish out there. I have a 1022 and for some reasons, where the depth shows, it just flashed 44.9. Any ideas what is causing that?

Also, when you see the fish out in front of you, it indicates where the fish are, but then you need to change it to the forward view to see where they are in the water column? Is that the easiest way?

    Thanks...

Do you have any other ducer connected to the unit besides the LiveScope? If not then when in Perspective mode the ducer is shooting forward and not down so it doesn't know the depth.

With the perspective bracket that's the only way to swap back to forward.

Yes, I only have the LiveScope connected to my 1022 unit. Guess that is why the graphic with the boat and where the LiveScope is aimed doesn't work also?

The boat graphic is the compass. You need to calibrate it.

Thanks... Is the calibration part of the 1022 setup? And since I only have the LiveScope transducer connected it will calibrate the compass?

Compass calibration is in the 1022. Go back into your Livescope manual and you will see instructions on how to calibrate it. You must be on the water.

We calibrated mine in a parking lot. Works fine.
