    Replacing Switches

    I'm replacing all the switches in my '97 Ranger to just go ahead and ensure they all work. Ordered new switches from new wire marine. The old switches are VJD1 switches, but they have 8 terminals coming off of the back, where the new switches have 7. Im not sure on what needs to be done because I replaced one of the switches by switching everything over and not even the indicator light came on. Any help would be greatly appreciated
