    TM vibration eliminator

Could someone please tell me how the T&H cap for my TM is a good investment?

Are you talking about the G-Force nut?

It doesn’t do squat other than fade after 6 months on the water. Been through 2 of them

The dealer included one on my boat. It looked cool but I didn’t see any other benefit. It can easily get over tightened and then is hard to take off. I removed it and am back to using the regular nut. Nice bling but that’s all IMO.

I put one on my last boat. It did not seem to make a difference. My current boat does not have one.

A buddy asked me a serious question that I could not answer...If you break the shear pin, how do you get the fancy prop nut off?

I never had any "Vibration" to get rid of, but the ease of removing the Prop with out any tools to remove any debris, or fishing line, was worth the investment for me.

The newer style like Bob's Machine Shop has a hole drilled down center to stick a screw driver in....

Not recommending the Eliminator, but at least on Minn Kota, They have what they are calling a "Drive" pin. I am not sure you can shear it. Bend it slightly, but doubt it can be sheared with a plastic prop.( Shearing a pin means there is no metal attached outside of the shaft so the prop can't be held in order to unscrew the Eliminator) JMHO Bob

Cabinet Screwdriver ,tip needs be same size as the shaft or it won't fit in the small hole. (I know how that sounds but its factual). Just so guys know what they need for there toolbox for road trips just in case.

Well for me, on a Motorguide Tour 109, it definitely works. Removed a ton of vibration.

I agree that it helps a bit. If I had it to do again, I would not bother. Bob

Helped on mine. It does a better job of squaring a prop up, as the center of the prop is not very square on many of them. The nut squares by the face, not the center.

Yea, it also extends farther from the center which lessens the deformation from the water resistance. Like I said, helps some. Bob
