    Wood screws or toggle bolts?

New to boats, nothing fancy, just an old Starcraft fishing boat with a plywood deck.
I want to mount 2 stands for rod holders that I made and was looking for ideas. There is no way to reach under the wood for nuts/bolts.

    Thanks!

Maybe well nuts? Worked great for mounting my down rigger and trolling motor. Smaller holes needed compared to toggle bolts.

Stainless steel wood screws always worked for me.
