Nothing major here, but in case it gives someone an idea .... I didn't want to drill holes in my boat, and read enough posts about interference that I knew there was a small chance I'd have to move the heading sensor. I wanted to use double-faced sticky pads, but when I got the unit I saw the sensor backside was hollow. So I cut a disc out of a discarded acrylic cutting board, mounted the sensor to that, and then used the sticky pads. Found a nice spot by the helm console with a space to run the wire under the dash without drilling. Seems secure enough, we'll see.
