    Odd Ranger 178 livewell issue

I have a 2014 178, last time out the live well stopped filling, I could here the pump running but not water. I figured it had got some air in it and that was the issue. Put the boat in reverse for a little bit to try and force water into the pump. Turned it back on and it was working again. The weird part is a little while latter I looked back at the live well and the whole back deck was flooded and the bilge was ful of water, almost like the drain had gotten plugged. Has anyone come across this before?

Sounds like a hose might have popped loose somehow.

Both these problems are common to the early model Ranger RT series. I have a PDF document that will be helpful in understanding the problem but cannot attach to an existing thread.
However this link will take you to a thread with the PDF.
