    Multiple outboards

What's the reasoning behind having two or more large horse power outboards?

And maneuverability. A lot easier to turn/position a large boat in tight spots with multiple props in the water.

From what i hear, ya, one dies on you, 80 miles offshore, hopefully the other one will get you in. That and he who has the most stuff wins.
