    SLX 7’2” MH

    Ordered this rod, and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on what it was best for. Felt one in store (which was a medium action), and it felt stiffer than what the action says. Bought it as a jack of all trades rod... Texas rigs, spinnerbait, chatterbait, swim Jigs, etc... and was wondering if I was right in thinking the action would be good for those techniques. Thanks!

    Actions can be subjective to the person using it. Sometimes people like a softer rod rather than a stiffer rod for just about any application. For me, that rod will do just fine for what you are gonna use it for.

    I have the SLX 7'-0" MH and find it a little heavier than some of my other rods with listed MH. I'm using it for chatterbaits with braid to leader - it's about right for around thicker grass.
