    2000 Tr-20: Rotary Switch Removal

Looking for some guidance on how to remove and replace the rotary switches (i.e. livewells, lights, etc).

I pulled the panel, see 2 square blocks separated by threaded rod with thin electrical nut on the back. The switch dial is on front.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Pry the knob off with a small screwdriver, and remove the nut.

Thanks; I was concerned about prying off as the switches are illuminated. I'll give it a gentle go this afternoon.

illuminated portion on the knob is just a lens.

On my 98 the light part was a separate module from the switch. A wet Q tip will clean the dust out of the holes for the lights and brighten them up if you have that issue.....

Thanks Savage; The knob(s) came off easily, exposing nut like you indicated.
