Yes its a rumor, but from what I hear they are planning not to allow permits till september. They are just announcing it each month to keep people from freaking out.

I believe they will not allow tournaments until they allow social gatherings of more than 25 or 50 people, or whatever number they have in their heads. I can almost bet the next push will be till June 29th. They are following our schedule........

Our governor in Maine is terrible. But yours in Mass takes the cake.

They should ban food shopping as I feel much more of a risk at the food store than fishing. Although at Webster on Saturday there were over 100 boats at Memorial beach launch.

If it's just a club tournament I would say have it anyway one guy at a time bags his fish and weight them , don't do money out in the open.

Then what happens in June? Cancel all permits for another month? I wouldn't have a club tourney without a permit. Kind of gives bass fisherman a bad name.

The club I do tounaments with had all permits in Mass cancelled through June 18th. We have 3 permits for NH waters in July, August and September and haven't heard anything from NH F&G yet.

They haven’t gave a date here in Maine yet as far as I know. It’s bs if the golf course can be open why the heck can’t we have a tournament.

David I run a small trail in N.H. (15 boats max at $300/team) and Vikki from NHFG said all permits issued while during the governors stay at home order are cancelled. He just extended it at least two weeks so as of now all permits through 6/15 are cancelled. The good news is the cutoff is 6/15 so not missing much. Hopefully the stay at home order will be cancelled so we can start our tournament season.
