I have owned and used talons and it worked great never had an issue. Power poles are great as well. But I have been using the heck out of power pole blades the last 4.5 years and one time from my stupidity I needed a 10 cent repair and now this time I needed 5$ bolt and the company is sending me a rebuild kit just so I have some spare parts.
like I am not a mechanic by any means but what I do know is if a talon goes down it goes to the shop, I have been able to fix my issues in a quick timely fashion and can not imagine having a failure on the water that ruins a day of fishing especially since I carry a few large zip ties just encase.
