    Prop recommendation

Currently I am running a Power Tech RED3R16PYM90 on my Sportsman 1710 with a 90 hp.Yamaha. At full throttle it is taching 6200 -6300 rpms at around 34-36 mph. This is with 2 people, normal gear, one power pole pro series II and half a tank of fuel(around 10 gallons) and livewell half to three quarters full. Hole shot is outstanding but I think I can get a few more mph with a 17" pitch then with the 16" pitch I am currently running as well as get my rpm's more around the 5800-6000 range. Any suggestions on this set up?

I run a standard 17 pitch alum Yamaha prop. WOT is 5900/6000 rpms top speed is 37-38 mph loaded about like yours. Hit 41 mph duck hunting in January 1/2 tank of gas, about 40 duck decoys and just me.

I'm thinking with with the stainless steel 17" prop 41 mph should be obtainable.

You definitely need to bring your RPM's down to 5800 -6000 at WOT. Maybe you should try the 17 pitch. I get 39.5 with stock aluminum and two guys and I'm 300 lbs.
