    What I do..

Home depot lowes etc sells a 3/4 hole saw with pilot bit. Get this

Use my plate to mark your hose hole locations. Simply hold my plate in the area you plan to drill and mark circles.
Put plate aside and drill 3/4 holes
install my plate and your good to go

hit me up with any questions!

    Post Pics when done!

Every-time I drill in holes in a boat I always go in reverse and do not apply very much pressure. Once you get thru or almost thru the gel coat switch to forward and go thru the fiberglass. Even when going thru the fiberglass I still only apply very light pressure.

Have a sharp bit, start with the drill going reverse direction , once hole is full size of drill bit start drill forward direction. This will keep glass from chipping, Tape can also help
