Does this filter seperate water? If so, where does it go? Or is it just a filter and not a seperator. Seems pretty easy to change out.

yes sensor will tell pcm moisture is present in lower portion of filter cavity activating alarm , theres a drain hose on bottom of vst loosen screw in front to open drain
