My boat is 1998 Skeeter ZX 200 c . The life well pump on starboard side went bad yesterday. The pump runs and can be heard in the auto and recirculate position. /But no water is pumped in and after filling it, in driveway today, it doesn't recirculate water and auto does nothing. But the motor can be heard. Not sure but I think I'll have to replace it.
On port side. The recirculate and auto feature both work when live well is filled. But it fills very slowly. Not sure but it's good working condition except it fills up slowly.
There is also a pumpout with for each side. Does nothing on starboard side, can hear motor running. In driveway with live wells filled the port side seems to recirculate water when pumpout is on. I don't understand the pumpout feature as there is no plumbing to pump water out of well. You have to switch over to empty to get water out.
Thoughts appreciated.
